Do you have difficulty approaching or reducing long bone fractures? Are you interested in learning simple techniques designed for the general practitioner to repair the most common fractures seen in dogs and cats? This laboratory is the one for you! We will teach reliable techniques and give valuable practical tips useful in repairing simple and more challenging comminuted fractures of long bones.
Join Dr. Terri Schiller at the University of Calgary for knowledgeable lectures, valuable demonstrations, and an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the implant system by performing the same procedure on cadavers and bone models. Clinical case discussions will put everything into context and allow us to discuss postoperative care and strategies to reduce complications. This workshop is RACE-approved for a total of 20 CE Credits. For more information or to register, click here.
