The webinars feature Dr. Karen Overall, professor of behavioural medicine, AVC, and will take place on April 18, 25, and May 2, all beginning at 4 p.m. ADT.
This webinar series will identify signs of aggression in dogs, as well as recognize when these signs are a cry for help. There will be a discussion on the damaging effects of punishment on companion animals, with a focus on using force and shock in dogs. The series will end with a review of new and exciting research in veterinary behavioural medicine.
Veterinarians and veterinary technicians are eligible for continuing education credit. The webinar cost is $50 per webinar, or $120 for all three. There will be no charge for veterinary or animal health technology students.
